Frequently Asked Questions

Contact Us Classes Parent Portal

Can my child start during the middle of the month?

Absolutely.  We will simply prorate your monthly tuition for the remainder of the month and start fresh in the month following.  This only applies to new students or families that have given the proper notice to discontinue class and start back at a later date.

What age students does CC&T coach?

Our Mommy & Me class is for students 2 years and up.  Our tumbling classes accept students age 4 years old and older.

What should my child wear to class at Cheaha Cheer & Tumble?

Female students should wear a leotard or gym shorts/pants and a t-shirt.  Male students should wear gym shorts/pants and a t-shirt.  Jeans or pants with zippers or buttons are not allowed. Long hair needs to be pulled back and any hair that could obstruct vision must be pinned away from the face. No jewelry is to be worn on the gym floor or equipment.  Students may wear tennis shoes or perform barefooted.
Cubbies are available at the gym entrance for book bags, other clothing items, and shoes. Please leave all valuables at home.  Cheaha Cheer & Tumble is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

If my child misses class, can he/she make it up?

Yes.  We offer two make-up classes per month.  The dates and times are listed on our Gym Calendar.

Is there an option to pay by the class? Do you take walk ins?

Unfortunately we can't accept walk ins or allow families to only pay for classes attended.  Our classes are structured to garuntee 5:1 or better student to teacher ratio and we would not be able to predict class sizes and ratios.  All tuiton must be paid on a monthly basis and students are encouraged to attend our twice monthly make up classes if they miss.

If we leave the gym without giving notice, will we be responsible for payment?

Yes.  We require 2 weeks notice in order to drop from our classes.  Please help us keep our costs down so we can pass that on to you.

What is the difference between Holiday Hours and Open Gym?

Holiday Hours are hours that we schedule for our current students only to tumble during holiday weeks that interfere with our normal gym schedule, i.e. Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Years.  There is NO ADDITIONAL COST to attend holiday hours.

Open Gym is offered  occasionally throughout the year and is open to the public!  Athletes 18 and under are welcome to attend!  The cost of Open Gym is $15.00 for 2 hours.

Do you offer private lessons?

Yes and No.  We offer private lessons on a very limited basis.  Our classes are generally 3-4 students per instructor and feel that, in most cases, our classes are just as effective as private lessons.
